About us
Giuseppe and Mauro are two brothers born and raised in Vico Equense. Both successfully pursued engineering: Giuseppe, the elder, specialized in telecommunications, while Mauro chose naval engineering.
After completing their studies and gaining various work experiences, Giuseppe and Mauro decided to follow their shared dream and embark on a path in hospitality. Gradually, they ventured into the world of accommodation, likely inspired by the memories and teachings of their paternal grandmother, Assunta, who raised them with love and dedication in the family home.
This journey led them to open “Casa Assunta,” a place that is not only a tribute to the grandmother who meant so much to them, but also a tranquil haven surrounded by greenery, where tradition and innovation come together to offer guests a unique experience. The house evokes memories of the childhood they spent with their grandmother and serves as a bridge between the past and the present.

Their passion for hospitality is shared by their sister Francesca, who, despite her university commitments, provides her small yet significant contribution to the family business, and by Giuseppe’s partner, Luana, who personally took care of the interior decoration, creating warm and welcoming spaces. The three siblings have combined their skills and experiences to make “Casa Assunta” hospitable and special, a place where every guest can feel right at home.
In addition to their professional commitments, Giuseppe, Mauro, and Francesca cultivate various hobbies that further enrich the experience offered at “Casa Assunta.” Giuseppe loves cooking and often prepares traditional dishes for their guests, using fresh, local ingredients. Mauro, on the other hand, has a natural talent for gardening and takes care of the family’s garden and citrus grove. Francesca is passionate about photography and loves capturing special moments of the guests and the breathtaking views of the Sorrento Coast.
The story of “Casa Assunta” is one of family, passion, and dedication. It is a place where every detail is lovingly cared for and where hospitality is not just a job, but a true vocation.
